Collaboration Details Between World of Warships: Legends and Azur Lane
Wargaming is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated seventh wave of collaboration between its popular online naval battle game, "World of Warships: Legends," and the smash-hit mobile title "Azur Lane." This collaboration will commence on January 19 and will be accompanied by several game events, including the "Born to Battle" campaign and a special French Navy event.
Joining Forces: New Characters and Ships
In this seventh wave of collaboration, players can expect five beloved characters from Azur Lane to make an appearance, adding exciting new gameplay elements. The characters joining the fray include:
- - Vittorio Veneto
- - Ägir
- - Tallinn
- - Z24
- - Massachusetts
Additionally, players will have access to new premium ships, including:
- - Italian Tier VII Premium Battleship AL Vittorio Veneto
- - German Tier VIII Premium Cruiser AL Ägir
- - Soviet Tier VI Premium Cruiser AL Tallinn
- - German Tier VII Destroyer AL Z24 (known for its torpedo specialization)
- - New camouflage for the American Tier VII Premium Battleship Massachusetts.
To acquire these captains, ships, and camouflages, players will need to open the "Azur Lane 7 Crate." In addition to items specifically part of this collaboration, players will find a range of rewards, including the "Siren" camouflage and captain training items, available at random. Moreover, players can receive two free crates, one from a special mission and the other from the "Born a Warrior" campaign.
The "Born to Battle" Campaign
The new "Born to Battle" campaign allows players to progress through 100 milestones, unlocking various rewards such as camouflages and crates. Upon successful completion of the campaign while maintaining valid maritime support, players will receive the British Tier VIII Premium Destroyer
Somme. This versatile vessel boasts high concealment and long-range torpedoes alongside an unlimited-use torpedo reload booster, ensuring maximum firepower in battle.
Discover France: French Navy Event
In tandem with the collaboration, a unique French Navy event will be introduced featuring special crates that contain themed rewards. These crates feature skins for iconic French battleships such as
Normandie,
Lyon,
Richelieu,
Alsace,
Bourgogne,
Strasbourg, and
Flandre. There is also a chance to acquire the premium battleship
Strasbourg or
Flandre from these crates.
Players can also collect crates through the new"Liberty for All" calendar, and upon completion, they will be rewarded with a captain costume for French commanders named
Marianne. Furthermore, participation in the "Seas of Courage" mission will unlock the French captain
Charles Bléry.
Legendary Ships and Additional Updates
As part of ongoing development efforts, the Dutch Legendary Tier Cruiser
Gouden Leeuw will be introduced, showcasing impressive airstrike capabilities. Additionally, a marathon event consisting of three updates will be rolled out, where players can collect ship parts to unlock the Soviet Legendary Tier Battleship
Kremlin.
This update will also launch new seasons for various modes such as the ``Fleets Cup`` and ``Ranked Battles``. The long-awaited implementation of Japan's hybrid battleship will occur, alongside numerous other improvements aimed at enhancing player experience. Mark your calendars: from February 9 to February 23, 2026, players will have the opportunity to tackle special missions featuring discounted ships, skins, and Captain costumes as part of the Lunar New Year event.
