Dahua Technology Unveils Innovations in Renewable Energy at Intersolar Europe 2026

Dahua Technology, a leading global provider of AIoT solutions, recently made a significant impact at the Intersolar Europe 2026 conference, focusing on the theme of "Visible AI in New Energy." This event highlighted the company’s commitment to enhancing the renewable energy sector through advanced technology innovations that emphasize efficiency, reliability, and security throughout the energy value chain—from production to transmission and consumption.

During the exhibition, Dahua presented a comprehensive suite of solutions spanning five critical areas, which included intelligent security, device control, HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) management, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocols, electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, and intelligent control centers. These offerings collectively addressed the rising demand for smarter operations and safer workplaces in the renewable energy infrastructure.

In the realm of intelligent security, Dahua showcased perimeter protection solutions for photovoltaic plants and energy facilities. These systems utilize thermal imaging, radar camera integration, and three-lens monitoring techniques, powered by solar energy, to enhance surveillance capabilities. Remarkably, the solution has extended the detection range by up to 85%. For instance, a solar project in Brazil saw a dramatic reduction in daily false alarms—from over 1,000 to just one per device per week—thanks to the sophisticated algorithms employed.

Additionally, Dahua's AI-powered perimeter protection solutions have also been implemented in a 60 MW solar park in Romania, marking a significant advancement in the application of technology within this sector.

On the device control front, Dahua introduced intelligent monitoring solutions tailored for substations and other geographically diverse energy facilities. By continuously tracking temperature and operational status, operators can swiftly identify potential deviations, thereby enhancing predictive maintenance strategies, improving operational efficiency, and lightening the workload typically associated with manual inspections.

To bolster workplace safety, Dahua unveiled its innovative HSE-PPE solutions, which comprise both stationary and portable detection systems leveraging AI technology. These systems automatically verify that personnel entering high-risk areas are wearing the required safety gear—such as helmets and vests—and issue real-time alerts in cases of non-compliance, thus reinforcing safety regulations within energy facilities.

Dahua also introduced its extensive range of EV charging products, featuring home-level AC charging solutions and fast DC charging options suitable for commercial applications. Supported by a cloud management platform and mobile applications, these systems allow users to monitor charging status, set charging schedules, and manage charging operations conveniently.

Complementing these applications, Dahua's Intelligent Control Center integrates security, monitoring, and operational management into a unified platform based on the DSS Professional system. This platform facilitates remote video surveillance, alarm management, inspection task scheduling, and historical data analysis, offering operators a centralized view of operational sites. In Italy, this solution enabled centralized management of remote solar power stations and has been expanded to cover 80 locations, involving approximately 1,600 thermal cameras.

Dahua’s offerings collectively underscore the company’s dedication to advancing the renewable energy sector through intelligent technology and comprehensive protection throughout the asset lifecycle. Looking ahead, Dahua is committed to collaborating with global partners to explore innovative applications of artificial intelligence that foster a safer, more efficient, and sustainable energy future.
