Lexington Partners Expands Leadership Team

Lexington Partners L.P., a premier global manager of secondary private equity and co-investment funds, announced significant changes to its leadership structure on February 5, 2025. The firm has promoted Jeffrey (Jeff) Bloom and Cullen Schannep to Partner positions and appointed Victor Wu as Co-Chair of the Secondary Investment Committee.

New Partners Shine in Secondary Investment

Jeff Bloom, based in New York, has been a vital member of the Secondary team. His focus on the origination, evaluation, and execution of continuation vehicle transactions has set him apart as a leader in the firm. Previously, Jeff spent 14 years dedicated to the secondary team, specifically working on partnership and GP-led transactions.

On the other hand, Cullen Schannep has been instrumental in the Menlo Park office since joining Lexington in 2009. His expertise centers on the origination and execution of secondary market opportunities, including partnership and GP-led transactions. This long-standing commitment to the firm's goals demonstrates his exceptional capability.

New Leadership Roles

In addition to the promotions, Victor Wu, another New York-based Partner, has been appointed the Co-Chair of the Secondary Investment Committee. Victor has been with Lexington since 2001 and has played a key role in shaping the firm’s investment strategies. His leadership in this new role, alongside existing Co-Chair Wil Warren and Partner Pål Ristvedt, is expected to enhance the firm’s operational effectiveness in managing secondary investment opportunities.

Wil Warren expressed his pride in the promotions, stating, "Jeff and Cullen have shown remarkable dedication and leadership throughout their tenure at Lexington. Their rise to Partner is a testament to our commitment to cultivating talent internally. We are excited about their future contributions to the firm."

Expanding the Partner group to a total of 26 members, Lexington emphasizes the depth of experience within its ranks, as their partners boast an average of 21 years in private equity. The firm, with over 180 professionals including more than 80 in investment roles, is poised for continued growth and success.
