Oishii Lab Organizes Free Charity Event for Children on Mother's Day 2026

Oishii Lab's Initiative to Bridge Food Experience Gaps

Oishii Lab, a company based in Tokyo and led by CEO Yuki Ito, is set to host its sixth charity event for children on May 10, 2026, coinciding with Mother’s Day. The event will take place at the esteemed Italian restaurant Dalmat in Nishi-Azabu. The primary goal of this initiative is to provide all children, regardless of their family background or economic circumstances, with access to genuine food experiences and emotional education opportunities.

This charity event has come to fruition through collaborations with established establishments, including the acai bowl specialty store Aubrey House and the non-profit organization Monster's Gratitude, led by Dr. Seki, who is known for his contributions to gourmet experiences.

Oishii Lab's Vision: Addressing Social Issues Through Food

Oishii Lab prides itself on a dynamic and specialized team, primarily consisting of female founders, dedicated to creating a better future through food. The company views business growth as inseparable from social contribution, tackling the pressing issue of food experience disparity in modern society. Leveraging insights gained from restaurant consulting, Oishii Lab is committed to fostering a sustainable cultural approach to child-rearing, rather than merely organizing temporary events.

The Social Significance of a Free Event

Access to high-quality dietary habits and enriching experiences are crucial for shaping children's futures. However, economic barriers still exist that prevent equal opportunities. Oishii Lab believes that “deliciousness is a magic that instantly brings happiness”, and, thus, has maintained a completely free participation model over five previous editions of this event. This allows every child to enjoy the company of professional chefs, quality ingredients, and a refined atmosphere.

Sixth Edition's Highlight: Acai Bowl Experience Workshop

This year’s event will feature an acai bowl workshop under the guidance of the health-focused Aubrey House. It aims to educate the children on:

  • - Real Educational Experience: Participants will creatively plate their acai bowls while considering colorful presentations and nutritional balance, guided by professional chefs.
  • - Expressing Gratitude: Completed acai bowls will be served to parents, giving children the opportunity to express their thanks on Mother's Day.
  • - Venue: The historical Italian venue Dalmat generously offers its hospitality, enriching the overall experience.

Seeking Partnerships for Greater Impact

As interest in this initiative has surged over time, Oishii Lab is establishing itself as a platform for social contribution through food. To sustain the completely free participation model and expand its reach, collaboration with companies that prioritize ESG investments and SDGs is crucial.

Benefits of Partner Participation:
1. High-impact CSR/SDGs Activities: Direct involvement in initiatives addressing “next-generation education,” “food education,” and “disparity correction.”
2. Positive Brand Recognition: Direct PR targeting local community members who care about education and food, especially in the savvy area of Nishi-Azabu.
3. Contribution to Information Dissemination: Support from Oishii Lab’s official communications highlights the company as one actively working on resolving social issues.

Message from the Organizer (CEO Yuki Ito)

“I firmly believe that food has the power to change society. With our strong and flexible execution led by female team members, we aspire to make this charity an integral part of Japan's food culture. As the organizer, I bear full responsibility for the successful completion of this project. We welcome partner companies that resonate with our vision to help support future smiles.”
