Exhibition Concept
This exhibition emphasizes the synergy between creative illustration and the advanced printing techniques developed by Hakkou Bijutsu over its 50-year history.
The focus is to celebrate the value of printed illustrations in a digital era where digital creation has become mainstream. The title 'ON Paper' signifies the place of completion for artworks, where illustrations that existed merely as data transform into tangible pieces through the process of printing. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience this transformation firsthand at the exhibition.
Additionally, the event will take place in a rarely accessible internal gallery space of the printing company, offering attendees a unique opportunity to appreciate the artwork in an authentic printing environment.
