Experience Unmatched Adrenaline with New Montreal Bungee Attraction

Experience Unmatched Adrenaline with Montreal Bungee

Montreal's thrill-seekers, get ready for an extraordinary new adventure! The renowned team behind MTL Zipline is introducing Montreal Bungee, an exhilarating new attraction that promises to elevate adrenaline levels like never before. The launch is slated for Spring 2025, and the location is as spectacular as the experience itself — right in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal, overlooking the majestic St. Lawrence River.

A New Heights of Adventure

Perched atop the Convoyeur Tower, which is the tallest urban jump in all of Canada, participants will have the chance to leap from a heart-stopping height of 210 feet. This amazing experience offers breathtaking panoramic views of downtown Montreal as well as the South Shore. Imagine taking in those stunning sights while experiencing the exhilarating rush of bungee jumping! The attraction will operate from sunrise to sunset, and for those wanting to take the plunge after dark, evening jumps will be enhanced by cutting-edge lighting, transforming the city into a glittering spectacle.

Samuel Cadotte, the founder of Montreal Bungee, highlights the uniqueness of this experience: “With Montreal Bungee, we're bringing the excitement of bungee jumping into the heart of the city. We are committed to providing an unforgettable experience set against an incredible backdrop.”

Blending History with Modern Innovation

Montreal Bungee isn’t just about the thrill; it also embodies a rich history. Housed in the Convoyeur Tower, a charming structure built in 1957, this attraction seeks not only to thrill but also to honor the historical significance of the Old Port. This $2.4 million project effectively preserves the architectural heritage of the tower while breathing new life into the area, creating a one-of-a-kind destination that attracts visitors from both near and far.

Supported by various organizations, including Tourisme Montréal, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Montreal Port Authority, this endeavor promises to create approximately 30 job opportunities and operate all year round, from March until December.

A Boost for Montreal's Tourism

This addition is expected to solidify the Old Port's status as a major recreational hub. Benoit Renaud, Principal Director of the Old Port of Montreal, stated: “This innovative addition cements the Old Port as a premier recreational destination.” Likewise, Caroline Proulx, Minister of Tourism, remarked that “Montreal Bungee enhances the city's allure, giving visitors yet another reason to stay longer and create lasting memories.”

The focus is not just on providing thrills – this investment represents a commitment to cultivating Montreal’s image as a must-visit destination for adventure enthusiasts. President and CEO of Tourisme Montréal, Yves Lalumière, noted, “We are proud to have made a significant investment in Montreal Bungee, a one-of-a-kind attraction that adds a new dimension to the city's offer of bold and unique experiences.”
