Introducing 'Highway Mapple': Your Go-To Guide for East Japan Highways

New Website 'Highway Mapple' Launching Soon

Starting April 20, NEXCO East Japan, in collaboration with Shobunsha, will unveil a new website called 'Highway Mapple'. This platform aims to provide comprehensive information about Service Areas (SA) and Parking Areas (PA) along the highways managed by NEXCO East Japan.

Designed for families planning trips, inexperienced long-distance drivers, and professional drivers alike, 'Highway Mapple' will serve as a go-to resource for travelers, offering tailored information based on their needs and travel scenarios.

The Features of 'Highway Mapple'

The site collaborates with Shobunsha, renowned for its 'Mapple' road atlases and magazines since 1984. By leveraging Shobunsha's extensive knowledge in maps and travel guides alongside NEXCO's expertise in SA and PA, the site promises to deliver high-quality, valuable information for travel planning and stopovers.

Visitors can expect to find the latest news regarding SA and PA, highlights of seasonal driving routes, information on local delicacies and souvenirs, and useful guides for beginner drivers. Furthermore, the website will continually update with features that cater to a variety of customer needs, ensuring that every trip is well-informed and enjoyable.

Accessibility and Convenience

The content on 'Highway Mapple' will be searchable by area, theme, and keyword, making it simple for users to find the information they require quickly. By enhancing pre-trip planning and information gathering, the website strives to elevate the travel experience for all highway users.

In tandem with the website launch, a printed 'Highway Mapple SA & PA Guide Map' will be distributed at select SA and PA locations starting mid-April. This compact guide will focus on clarity and usability, presenting essential details about SA and PA facilities while enabling travelers to effortlessly plan their journeys.

Key Highlights of the Guide Map

The guide includes maps of the East Japan region, along with facility information for SA and PA. Each map will feature not only highway details but also nearby attractions, ensuring users can maximize their travel experience. Services offered at each facility, operating hours, and distances to the next SA or PA will be presented clearly to assist travelers during their journeys. The guide map achieves a high information density while maintaining user-friendliness, allowing users to view both maps and facility details simultaneously.
