Oriole Park to Showcase America's Best Young Baseball Talent at UA Next All-America Game
UA Next All-America Game Set for September 13 at Oriole Park
On September 13, 2025, Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore will be the site of the prestigious UA Next All-America Game, showcasing America's brightest high school baseball players. Organized by Under Armour and Baseball Factory, this year’s event promises to be a highlight in the sports calendar, featuring the top 40 high school players who demonstrate exceptional talent on the field.
The UA Next All-America Game has garnered a reputation for featuring some of the most talented young athletes in baseball, many of whom have gone on to make their mark in Major League Baseball. Among the notable alumni are Gunnar Henderson and Bobby Witt Jr., who have both played pivotal roles in their respective MLB teams.
Reflecting on the significance of this event, Cal Ripken Jr., co-founder of Ripken Baseball and part-owner of the Baltimore Orioles, emphasized the importance of providing young athletes with big league experiences. "Playing at Camden Yards is as big league as it gets. I’m excited for these extraordinary athletes to compete in the park where our Orioles play. Orioles fans will have the chance to witness the next generation of baseball stars in action," Ripken stated.
To pave the way for participation in the UA Next All-America Game, aspiring players can take part in the UA Next Prospect Tour powered by Baseball Factory. Launched earlier this year, this tour enables middle and high school athletes to engage in competitive scenarios and gain exposure through comprehensive scouting experiences. Top performers from this tour will gain consideration for future All-America Games, thus creating a pipeline of emerging baseball talent.
The festivities will kick off on Friday, September 12, with a Workout Day sponsored by Rawlings Sporting Goods. During this event, players will showcase their skills in front of families, coaching staff, MLB scouts, and VIPs. Activities will include skills assessments, batting practice, and defensive drills, setting the stage for an exciting weekend of baseball.
Sean Eggert, SVP of Global Sports Marketing at Under Armour, commented on the company's dedication to fostering young athletes, stating, "Under Armour is committed to growing the next generation of athletes through our UA Next program. Our aim is to help aspiring athletes unlock their full potential on their journeys to success. We’re thrilled to support these talented players on such a prestigious platform, especially in our home city of Baltimore."
In addition to showcasing top-tier talent, this event marks the 20th anniversary of the All-America Game, which has previously taken place at esteemed MLB venues like Wrigley Field and Kauffman Stadium. This prestigious event has a remarkable track record, having produced over 150 first-round MLB Draft picks, emphasizing its role as a benchmark for high school baseball.
Steve Bernhardt, VP of Baseball Operations at Baseball Factory, highlighted the significance of this game in shaping young athletes’ careers, saying, "This event has become the gold standard for high school baseball. Over the years, we’ve seen numerous talented players rise to the occasion, and we’re eager to see what this year's class brings to the table."
Participants will receive premium accommodations and recognition throughout the event, enhancing the overall experience. Sponsors will contribute to the spectator experience, offering interactive activities and engaging entertainment. Notably, there will be activities like the Zebra Pen Signage Creation Station for fans to personalize their experience and a free Community Clinic aimed at teaching baseball skills to local kids in Baltimore.
The UA Next All-America Game will be open to the public, with ticket details and additional information to be released soon. This celebration of young talent not only highlights the future of baseball but also reinforces the commitment of Under Armour and Baseball Factory to uplift the sport at grassroots levels.
