Toca Boca's Innovative Music Strategy to Engage Tween Players

Toca Boca's Innovative Music Strategy

Connecting Tweens with Their Favorite Tunes
In a transformational move, Toca Boca®, a creative digital studio under Spin Master, is enhancing its vibrant gaming universe, Toca Boca World™, by introducing an array of popular music tracks. This initiative aligns perfectly with its mission to provide a unique space for tweens that cultivates creativity and self-expression while engaging them with the music they adore. From today, users of the app will have the privilege to experience tracks from global music sensations like Olivia Rodrigo, SIENNA SPIRO, and the renowned K-pop group TWICE.

Music: A Catalyst for Self-Expression
As tweens navigate their formative years, music serves a pivotal role in self-discovery and personal expression. Marc De Vellis, Spin Master’s President of Digital Games, highlights the emotional resonance music has during this critical age. “We aim to foster a space where kids can genuinely express themselves. Incorporating music from artists they admire allows us to create authentic moments that foster connection,” he states. Each artist featured will showcase four of their hit songs available for streaming within the app for one month, seamlessly integrating music into the gameplay.

Bridging the Gap Between Gaming and Music
This collaboration represents a significant touchpoint for artists aiming to connect with tween audiences across a staggering 173 countries. As players decorate their virtual rooms, explore expansive worlds, and engage with the game, they will now do so with a customized soundtrack that enhances their overall experience. Rob Levin from Interscope Capitol emphasizes this interactivity, stating that Toca Boca World allows for direct engagement with young fans, positioning music as an integral component of their daily gameplay.
