CEO Talk Connects Students with Business Leaders for Career Insights

Zenken Hosts Free CEO Talk Event for Students

On June 17, 2025, Zenken Corporation will organize a unique event named 'CEO Talk' aimed at connecting students with business leaders. This initiative is designed to create an open dialogue where undergraduates can gain insights into the true essence and significance of work through real-life experiences shared by accomplished entrepreneurs. Students will have the chance to listen to impactful stories from successful CEO's, which will help them comprehend the realities of the business world and the value of having a purpose in their professional lives.

A Distinctive Approach to Career Guidance
Unlike conventional job-hunting events, CEO Talk offers a platform where students engage in open interviews with CEOs, asking questions and discussing topics that matter most to them. This year's emcee will be Fukutaro Kawabata, President of Marvel Corporation, known for his remarkable feat of building a workforce of around 200 employees within just four years of starting his business. He will share valuable lessons on leadership and personal development, guiding students to reflect on their own leadership styles.

Through various interactive segments, students will explore different perspectives on work and gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be a part of the workforce. CEO Talk aims to allay uncertainties students may have regarding their career paths and help them redefine their views on work, encouraging a culture of engagement in the workplace.

He pursued an MBA Essentials program at Waseda University while transitioning through various roles in the insurance sector, IT sales, and consulting. In 2020, he founded Marvel Corporation and assumed the position of President.

Inspiration Behind CEO Talk
The inception of CEO Talk emerged from the creation of the interview media, 'CEO VOiCE,' launched in May last year. By conducting interviews with over 120 CEOs, Zenken uncovered profound insights that inspired the need to convey these messages directly to younger generations. CEO Talk stands as a dedicated opportunity to present the genuine experiences of business leaders to students seeking guidance in their career journeys.

This initiative is not merely about job hunting; it serves to evoke meaningful conversations about work and redefine the career narrative for students. Encouraging them to ask thought-provoking questions, and learn directly from those who have journeyed down similar paths is essential for transforming the future of work culture in Japan.
