Scientel Solutions Raises $120,000 at Golf Outing for Local Veterans Support

Golfing for a Cause: Scientel Solutions' Impact on Veterans

This past week, Scientel Solutions orchestrated its 8th Annual Putting for Veterans Golf Outing, held at the picturesque White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville, Illinois. For the second consecutive year, the event achieved profound success by raising an impressive $120,000, demonstrating the community's commitment to supporting local veterans.

With every passing year, Scientel not only aims to sustain the event's success but also introduces new features and experiences. The goal remains steadfast: to amplify support for three local veteran organizations—Naperville Responds for Veterans, Aurora Veterans Advisory Council, and the Fox Valley Marine Corps.

Nelson Santos, the company's Founder and CEO, expressed his heartfelt sentiments regarding the event. He remarked, “At Scientel Solutions, giving back is not just a practice; it's embedded in our core values.” This year held particular significance for him as it marked his first occasion hosting the charity event as a U.S. citizen. His sentiments resonated with the audience, emphasizing the honor of supporting those who have bravely served the nation.

One of the hallmark traditions of the golf outing is the awarding of Quilts of Valor to veterans, meticulously crafted by the well-regarded Quilt of Valor Foundation. During this year's ceremony, six local veterans were honored with these handmade quilts, serving as a tangible recognition of their service and sacrifice.

The funds raised from this year's outing will go toward various initiatives undertaken by the recipient organizations, including scholarship funds, financial assistance for utility payments, and vital home repairs and modifications for veterans. The positive impact and expanded reach of the Putting for Veterans program highlight Scientel's unwavering dedication to honoring and assisting those who have served our country.

This year’s event saw unprecedented community involvement with over forty sponsors supporting it, making it the most sponsored outing in its history. Notable sponsors contributing to this cause included 605 Holdings, KWCC, APS Data Technologies, Glass Solutions, ACBT, Watch Lab, Bardwell Senior Living, Naperville Responds for Veterans, and Anheuser-Busch, among others.

Scientel Solutions, based in Aurora, Illinois, is recognized as The Universal Integrator. The company provides comprehensive technology services that cater to clients' complex communication, video, and data management needs. Its mission aims at enhancing the quality of life for customers, partners, employees, and the wider community.
