E&R Engineering Unveils New Office and Automation Services in Portland
E&R Engineering Expands Presence in North America
E&R Engineering Corp., a prominent semiconductor equipment provider, has officially inaugurated its new office in Hillsboro, Oregon, enhancing its footprint in the North American market. This strategic expansion follows the establishment of its Phoenix, Arizona location, marking a significant milestone in providing localized support within the U.S. semiconductor ecosystem.
The new Hillsboro office serves as a crucial hub, allowing E&R Engineering to be closer to key clients while addressing the increasing demand for advanced packaging solutions. Kevin Chang, the CEO of E&R Engineering USA, emphasized the importance of this dual-site strategy, stating that it enables real-time responses to the needs of Tier-1 customers. He noted that the reach of their orders in the North American market now extends through 2027, which signifies robust growth and commitment.
Automation Integration Services
One of the cornerstones of E&R Engineering's expansion strategy is the introduction of Automation Integration Services (AIS) in North America. This innovative service stands in contrast to traditional single-device offerings, as it involves the integration of multiple process modules into tailored systems. The newly launched AIS aims to streamline operations for their clients, revolutionizing how semiconductor companies approach automation and production efficiency.
This innovative “Design-to-Implementation” model has already secured orders and has begun contributing to revenues, with E&R Engineering expecting significant growth between the end of 2026 and through 2027. Customers in advanced manufacturing sectors are increasingly adopting these integrated solutions as they seek to enhance productivity and maintain competitive advantages.
