Huawei Introduces Smart Solutions for SMEs: Enhancing Last-Mile Connectivity to the Intelligent World

Huawei's Smart Solutions Unveiled for SMEs

At the recent 2025 HUAWEI eKit Autumn Launch event held in Shanghai, Huawei's Executive Director David Wang unveiled a groundbreaking suite of smart solutions specifically designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), named HUAWEI eKit 4+10+N. This initiative aims to support SMEs in their transition towards intelligent operations, under the theme "Together for Growth, All Intelligence."

The Rise of Artificial Intelligence in Business

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming integral in the business landscape. Currently, many organizations utilize AI mainly through smart assistants for their workforce. However, forecasts suggest that future applications will see deeper integration of AI within core manufacturing systems, profoundly influencing product models, services, business and operational methods, thereby establishing AI as a vital growth catalyst.

In China alone, over 58 million SMEs contribute to more than 80% of urban employment and generate 60% of the national GDP. Despite this significance, many SMEs face challenges in adopting AI technologies due to a lack of awareness, inadequate technical skills, and complexity in implementation. Consequently, the barrier to embracing AI remains daunting for many smaller enterprises.

Accessibility of Intelligence

During the event, David Wang articulated a visionary approach stating, "Intelligence should be as accessible as water or electricity. I hope, in the future, that everyone - individuals, households, and organizations alike - will benefit from AI technology." He emphasized that Huawei is dedicated to helping SMEs overcome barriers and smoothly transition to a phase of business intelligence, ensuring no one is left behind in the intelligent world.

To mitigate the technological and personnel shortages preventing self-application of AI, many SMEs rely on intelligent tools provided by external vendors. These businesses are in search of user-friendly solutions designed to enhance efficiency and foster growth. Traditionally, these solutions were delivered by vendors through complex subcontracting models that often proved to be ineffective. To address this, Huawei is revamping its distribution model from selling standalone products to offering comprehensive scenario-based solutions that are easier for installation firms to implement.

The HUAWEI eKit 4+10+N

The HUAWEI eKit 4+10+N consists of tailor-made tools created based on real business scenarios. The number 4 in the title represents four primary scenarios addressing the majority of business operations: smart office, smart enterprise, smart education, and smart healthcare. The number 10 refers to ten comprehensive scenario-based solutions launched during this event, including offerings for SME offices, smart hotels, digital diagnostics platforms, and interactive smart classrooms. Lastly, "N" signifies a vast array of top-notch products specifically customized for these scenarios.

Among the 26 products introduced is the HUAWEI eKitEngine AR180 enterprise router series, recognized for its high-speed capabilities, complete with routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and VPN functionalities. Additionally, innovations like IdeaHub were also unveiled, melding conferencing systems with AI support, acoustic barriers, and applied artificial intelligence. All newly launched products boast a holistic all-in-one design, intelligent interactions, and robust security features.

Supporting SMEs in Their Intelligent Transformation

Wang underscored, "We tackle complex challenges so our clients and partners can focus on their growth. Our comprehensive scenario solutions will facilitate easier and quicker adoption of intelligent technologies for SMEs. The HUAWEI eKit offerings represent a significant upgrade in solution development, sales support, and delivery services, providing AI advantages to all small and medium enterprises."

All revealed products incorporate significantly advanced AI technologies compared to their predecessors. These technologies are seamlessly integrated and validated within specific solutions, allowing for more flexible delivery options. Installers can easily create product packages tailored to the distinct needs of various scenarios. Moreover, Huawei provides additional sales support to its distribution partners, ensuring quicker access to resources, solution demonstrations, and scenario configuration plans that greatly simplify the product selection and solution designing process for both installers and clients.

In terms of delivery services, Huawei promotes unified installation, centralized network management, and consolidated customer support, facilitating swift AI adoption for clients while ensuring seamless delivery from installation technicians.

In conclusion, Wang declared, "These solutions will assist SMEs in overcoming the last mile to an intelligent world. We proudly stand alongside our distribution partners and installation technicians, ready to share our resources and fully support small and medium enterprises in their intelligent transformation."
