Canaan Inc. is launching a new film equipment rental brand called HINODE BASE in collaboration with industry giants, including Hibino Inc. Set to officially open on September 1, 2025, the service will operate from Hibino's Hinode Building in Minato, Tokyo.

What is HINODE BASE?

A dedicated equipment coordinator will be on-site to manage and provide gear from partner companies, streamlining equipment adjustments for field chiefs and production teams. This initiative aims to significantly reduce time spent on equipment coordination, optimizing on-set operations.

2. Optimized Logistics

The facility features a spacious loading area suitable for large vehicles, including HiAce vans and trucks, along with a large elevator. This design minimizes loading and unloading stress, balancing time efficiency with safety during operations.

3. Simplified Billing Management

Canaan Inc. handles consolidated billing, even when multiple equipment suppliers are involved. This significantly reduces the financial administrative burden on production teams, allowing them to focus on creative work.
