Transforming Smartphones into Professional Monitors
In a groundbreaking move for content creators, Hollyland has officially unveiled the Vcore, a revolutionary wireless video transmission system that redefines the concept of lightweight video capture. Designed specifically for ease of use and mobility, the Vcore provides users with the capability to convert their smartphones into professional camera monitors while delivering seamless wireless video transmission and a suite of advanced software features.
Dave Liu, Technical Director of Hollyland's R&D Management Center, expressed that "Vcore caters to both beginner and semi-professional creators, marking a transformative leap in digital storytelling. By seamlessly integrating professional monitoring with wireless transmission and intelligent software into a smartphone-centric ecosystem, we simplify workflows and empower creators to see everything and work from anywhere."
All-in-One Design
The Vcore’s all-in-one design streamlines professional monitoring. Users can connect their cameras via HDMI and their smartphones via USB-C to access the HollyView app, enabling real-time monitoring of 4K videos at 30 frames per second. This function ensures that creators can monitor their recordings with precision and comfort. Whether you are using Android or iOS, the Vcore integrates flawlessly with Hollyland's Pyro series receivers, offering robust multi-device monitoring options.
With a 1-to-4 transmitter-to-receiver configuration, the Vcore transmits signals over a 5GHz frequency, boasts a range of up to 100 meters, and maintains an incredibly low latency of approximately 65 milliseconds.
Streamlined Workflow
Beyond just monitoring, the Vcore enhances the entire workflow from recording to editing and broadcasting. Users can capture stunning 1080p video at 60 frames per second utilizing the H.264 codec, an ideal format for efficient post-production. The Vcore automatically detects the frame rate and timecode of the connected camera, enabling seamless linking of proxy files in editing software like Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. Additionally, the proxy files recorded in the MP4 format come with an embedded timecode saved on an internal SD card, providing reliable backup options.
Furthermore, the linked mobile device can automatically initiate synchronous recording in MP4 format via the HollyView app, which facilitates immediate sharing on social networks and swift editing—perfect for quick shoots. For high-resolution image transfer, the Vcore connects to the camera via USB to capture uncompressed image files like RAW or JPEG, wirelessly and in real-time sent to mobile devices or macOS through the Capture One plugin.
The HollyView app enhances user experience significantly by allowing real-time naming and tagging of clips during set recordings. Importantly, mobile and sender footage shares the same customizable file name prefix that aligns with the camera source files. The Vcore supports recording up to 1080p at 60fps, facilitating easy importing of material into mobile editing software for intelligent organization. Users can review footage with a shared screen, mark favorites, and allow the system to automatically categorize clips into specified folders.
Unique Functionality Matrix
In addition to these impressive features, the Vcore showcases a unique matrix of functionalities including camera remote control, live streaming options, and real-time chroma-key algorithms for green screen effects. These differentiated capabilities empower creators to elevate their content creation process and explore new creative avenues.
With the launch of Vcore, Hollyland presents a fresh perspective on lightweight technology. The core concept of "Your Phone. Your Monitor." emphasizes the brand's ongoing commitment to drive innovation and redefine productivity tools in the mobile age. For more information about Vcore, please visit
