Majestic Gold Exhibition Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Over 1,000 Exquisite Items

Majestic Gold Exhibition Celebrates 25th Anniversary

The highly-anticipated "Majestic Golden Exhibition" will launch at JR Nagoya Takashimaya from July 18 to July 23, 2025, commemorating 25 years of excellence in gold manufacturing and sales by SGC Co., Ltd., headquartered in Ginza, Tokyo. This six-day event will showcase over 1,000 stunning gold products, creating a breathtaking spectacle for attendees.

Special Edition Pigeon-themed Gold Coin

Among the special exhibits is a unique gold coin inspired by Nagoya’s famous sweet, "Piyorin." This exclusive item is priced at K24 1,237,500 yen. Created using locally sourced Nagoya Cochin eggs, the "Piyorin" dessert features a delicious pudding encased in fragrant vanilla Bavarian cream, garnished with powdered sponge cake. The first five customers who purchase the gold "Piyorin" items each day will receive a complementary sweet set featuring both the regular and gold versions of the dessert.

Unique Lifesize Gold Venus

A highlight of the exhibition is the special display of a lifesize golden "Venus de Milo," crafted with approximately 1,500 gold leaf sheets and standing at around 216 cm tall. This extraordinary piece is produced by SGC in collaboration with the renowned GrandPalais, utilizing traditional Japanese techniques to faithfully replicate the iconic statue held at the Louvre. This partnership with Bellfine, a pioneer in gold products, marks the only existence of such a creation across the globe.

A Celebration of Gold amid Rising Prices

As gold prices reach all-time highs, the exhibition promises to captivate with over 1,000 elegant gold artworks. From Buddhist ceremonial objects crafted by national treasures to decorative items embodying good fortune, visitors will witness the true artistry of gold craftsmanship. Notably, the event will also cater to those wishing to sell their gold or jewelry, offering free appraisals using X-ray analysis on-site.
