SANY Thrills at bauma 2025 with Sustainable Solutions and Digital Intelligence

SANY's Groundbreaking Showcase at bauma 2025

The 34th edition of bauma, the world’s premier construction machinery trade fair, took place recently in Munich, Germany, marking a significant event in the industry. Under the theme “The World of Efficiency, Your Partner for the Best,” SANY Group, in collaboration with Putzmeister, attracted significant attention at their expansive 5256 m² booth. The opening day alone saw SANY engaging over 200 potential clients and securing orders valued at nearly 3 billion yuan (approximately 360 million euros).

This year, SANY introduced an impressive array of 35 standout products, showcasing their commitment to innovation and sustainability. Among these, 31 products received CE certification, with 15 making their global debut. Notably, 11 of these products are electric, highlighting SANY’s focus on eco-friendly solutions in the construction sector.

Innovative Electric Machinery

Among the highlights was the SCC2000A-EV, SANY's largest fully electric crawler crane, equipped with a powerful CATL battery providing 422 kWh for up to 9 hours of operation. This crane, featuring a Danfoss motor with 234 kW of power, is capable of lifting up to 200 tons, has an 86 m main boom, a 30 m fixed jib, and a 63 m swing jib, all compliant with CE and European transport standards.

Another remarkable product was the STR50E, the industry's first 5-ton electric roller. This machine boasts a 60 kWh battery that allows over 7 hours of continuous operation with rapid charging capabilities, reaching full charge in just 60 minutes. With more than 2,000 operational hours tested, it's designed to function reliably in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 °C to 50 °C, illustrating SANY's commitment to durability and efficiency.

Additionally, the SY215E electric excavator stands out as SANY’s flagship model, powered by a 422 kWh CATL battery and a robust 150 kW motor that ensures 6-8 hours of continuous operation in challenging conditions. This model also features dual CCS2 charging that achieves full capacity in just 1.5 hours and advanced 360-degree AI cameras for enhanced safety and operational efficiency.

Compact and Powerful Solutions

SANY also unveiled the STH625E, its first compact telehandler designed for Europe and narrow spaces. With dimensions of 1.85 meters in width and 1.92 meters in height, it maintains a balance of compactness and power, operating for up to 8 hours at a speed of 20 km/h due to its 34 kWh battery.

The Digital Intelligence Zone

SANY’s Digital Intelligence Exhibit attracted numerous visitors eager to learn about innovations like the MySANY platform and the Smart Excavation System, Mechlink. Developed by Yaowu Technology in collaboration with SANY's R&D Institute, the Mechlink System enables L2 level intelligent excavation through low-latency 5G technology, enhancing safety and efficiency in complex job sites.

A live demonstration showcased the remote operation of excavators, with control being exercised from Munich to Huzhou, China — a distance exceeding 8,500 kilometers. This extraordinary display captivated over 200 participants, marking a significant milestone in remote operational capabilities.

SANY's European Journey

SANY's journey within Europe began in 2009 with its establishment in Bedburg, Germany. Since then, the company has cultivated a robust ecosystem in Europe that encompasses R&D, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service. With 150 dealerships, 120 sales experts, 70 service vehicles, and a spare parts inventory worth 20 million euros, SANY consistently exceeds customer expectations while meeting the demands for clean, eco-friendly, and sustainable products.
