Zoomlion's Ongoing Commitment to Education and Community Development

In celebration of the recent International Day of Charity, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility. With a generous donation of 2 million RMB (approximately $280,000) to its longstanding scholarship initiative ‘Love Changes Destiny,’ the company continues to support students in their pursuit of education. This initiative has celebrated its 23rd anniversary, highlighting its significance in providing scholarships to those in need.

Since its inception in 2003, the program has contributed more than 38 million RMB (around $5.3 million) and has supported hundreds of thousands of students throughout China. The ongoing success of ‘Love Changes Destiny’ reflects Zoomlion’s responsibility towards its local market while also showcasing a broader commitment to international community development.

The 2025 ceremony for 'Love Changes Destiny' took place in Changsha, where government representatives, charity organizations, and business leaders gathered to extend their support for underprivileged students. Beneficiaries shared heartfelt stories of how the program has inspired them to overcome challenges and engage positively in society, highlighting the profound impact of the initiative.

In addition to the 2 million RMB donation, Zoomlion contributed an additional 800,000 RMB through the Hunan Charity Federation to assist ethnic minority students in rural areas, further reinforcing its focus on inclusive development.

For over two decades, ‘Love Changes Destiny’ has raised billions of yuan, successfully assisting nearly 255,000 students, earning Zoomlion recognition as a key contributor and recipient of numerous national charity awards. This dedication to social responsibility transcends the borders of China. For instance, after the devastating Typhoon Yagi struck Vietnam's Bac Ha County in 2024, Zoomlion provided crucial aid and helped rebuild local infrastructure.

Moreover, the company's local subsidiary in the Philippines recently hosted a charity event at the Rehoboth Sampaloc orphanage in Rizal province, where essential supplies were distributed to 27 children, reinforcing community ties.

Zoomlion’s commitment to social good goes further with its involvement in agricultural cooperation projects across countries like Cambodia, Laos, and the Dominican Republic, where the company offers equipment and training to facilitate modernization and sustainable development in agriculture.
