CIFF Guangzhou 2026 Concludes, Enhancing Global Connections Across the Furniture Industry
The 57th China International Furniture Fair (CIFF Guangzhou 2026), held from March 18 to 31 under the theme "CONNECT•CREATE", wrapped up on March 31, marking a significant milestone for the international furniture sector. This year, the fair attracted over 5,100 exhibitors, with an impressive 93.8% of them using the platform to unveil their latest products. The event saw a remarkable attendance of 353,106 professionals from 185 countries and regions, including 64,291 international visitors, reflecting a 13.2% increase from the previous year.
During the eight-day event, attended by industry leaders and innovators, a total of 111 supplemental events took place, along with the release of nine major trend reports. These efforts highlighted CIFF’s role as a thought leader in the furnishing industry. In response to the increasing interest from buyers in the Middle East, who could not attend in person, the fair introduced an innovative remote matchmaking service that enabled real-time online interactions combined with live exhibition walkthroughs. This initiative led to 162 targeted procurement matching sessions, ensuring continuity in international sourcing despite travel constraints.
Leveraging Global Resources
CIFF showcased the entire value chain of the furniture industry, bridging global resources through its three flagship exhibitions. Each segment of the fair was meticulously curated to promote innovation and boost collaboration within the sector.
Home Furniture Exhibition
Taking place from March 18 to 21, the Home Furniture Exhibition explored the progression of design from concept to market, pushing the boundaries of innovation. Spanning 430,000 square meters, this section encouraged global exchanges, assisting international brands in entering the Chinese market and supporting domestic brands in their overseas expansion endeavors. The exhibition's curated spaces traced the evolution of contemporary living aesthetics, reflecting changing lifestyles and emphasizing new trends such as pet-friendly spaces and age-appropriate design.
Office and Commercial Space Exhibition
The Office and Commercial Space Exhibition, held from March 28 to 31, presented a future-centric vision for workspace ecosystems, focusing on sustainability. Visitors engaged with green principles integrated across design, materials, and the lifecycle of office furnishings, tracking innovations that reduce carbon footprints from concept through to usage. Smart technologies emerged as a driving force, merging intelligent products, design strategies, and service systems to create connected solutions tailored for modern workspaces.
CIFM/interzum Guangzhou
Simultaneously, the CIFM/interzum Guangzhou segment spotlighted global innovations and industrial value chains, driving transformations within manufacturing. The machinery sector promoted the concept of smart production, connecting woodworking and upholstery machines with the principles of Industry 4.0, thereby facilitating scalable upgrades in smart manufacturing practices. Furthermore, advancements in furniture materials showcased enhancements in CMF (Color, Material, Finish), functionality, and sustainable surfaces.
The hardware segment introduced intelligent solutions designed to enhance living environments and optimize space utilization. By integrating creativity, manufacturing, and global trade within its three major exhibitions, CIFF 2026 positioned itself as a pivotal platform connecting professionals from around the globe, while asserting Guangzhou's status as a vital hub in the international furniture industry.
Through its diverse offerings and innovative approaches, CIFF Guangzhou 2026 not only concluded successfully but also set a robust foundation for future collaborations and growth in the dynamic world of furniture design and manufacturing.
