Currently, over 80% of the food operators and retailers at Celebration Key are locally owned, including establishments like Bahama Mama Seafood Pit, Flipping Fritters, and, of course, Mini Donut King.

To celebrate this milestone, a special day of festivities was organized for guests, featuring visits aboard the Carnival Conquest and Carnival Freedom. The celebrations included a special anniversary-inspired Junkanoo performance, interactive treasure hunts, and a giant birthday cake welcoming guests at the entrance, reflecting the vibrancy and fun of Bahamian culture that defined Celebration Key's first year.

The anniversary coincides with Carnival Corporation's expansion of its food waste reduction strategy, Less Left Over, to The Bahamas.
