Experience the Refreshing 'Unkai Splash' at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo This Summer
From July 1, 2025, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, located in Bunkyo City, Tokyo, will launch a special summer garden experience called "Unkai Splash". This unique event promises guests an invigorating time as they immerse themselves in a refreshing mist while surrounded by the lush greenery of the hotel’s garden.
A Unique Summer Experience Awaits
This year's highlight of the "Unkai Splash" is the collaboration with the popular L'Occitane fragrance, "Citrus Verbena," bringing forth a delightful aroma fused with the garden atmosphere. Every burst from the mist nozzles not only cools visitors but also envelops them in a refreshing scent, making it an ideal respite from Tokyo's sweltering summer heat.
Positioned in front of the iconic Gojō Falls, the mist rises vigorously, creating a playful and enjoyable splashing experience reminiscent of a water park. Standing beneath the mists, guests can feel droplets showering like raindrops, and on sunny days, the sunlight creates a beautiful rainbow effect, adding a sense of joy to the experience.
For those looking to enhance their photo opportunities, colorful umbrellas will be available near the splash area, providing a perfect backdrop for summer memories.
The Experience of 'Scented Tokyo Unkai'
This summer will also see the debut of "Scented Tokyo Unkai – Cool version." Essence of L'Occitane’s "Citrus Verbena" will waft through the garden along with the mist, creating a symphony for the senses as guests breathe in the fresh citrus aroma blended with verdant green hues.
As part of the experience, a vibrant blue light display will take place every evening from 7 PM to 9 PM. This enchanting light setting not only emphasizes the mist's cooling effect but also visualizes a serene ambiance, enhancing the escapism from the city heat.
Summer Getaway Staycation Package
In addition to the summer splash experience, the hotel offers a limited-time "Summer Getaway Stay" package. This includes a special arrangement for guests to enjoy complimentary sparkling wine, pool access, and a selection of breakfast options from Japanese, Western, or room service. Guests staying under this plan will also receive a set of hotel-exclusive design postcards, ideal for sending summer greetings to loved ones.
Visitors will have the chance to relax and recharge in the hotel's serene surroundings, embracing summer in a rejuvenating and stylish way.
