XCMG Unveils Innovative Excavator Lineup for North America at CONEXPO 2026

XCMG Excels in Excavator Innovation at CONEXPO 2026

XCMG Excavator made waves at the recently concluded CONEXPO 2026, one of the largest construction equipment trade shows on the globe, which took place in Las Vegas from March 3 to 7, 2026. The company showcased a remarkable lineup of ten excavator models specifically designed for the North American market. This exhibition served not only to display their advanced machinery but also to underline the versatility and adaptability essential for today's construction demands.

During the inaugural day of the show, XCMG's booth attracted contractors, dealers, and equipment specialists who were keenly evaluating machinery for various field applications. Among those present was a Texas-based contractor who was examining excavators intended for landscaping, agricultural efforts, and lighter municipal projects. He noted the maneuverability of XCMG's compact and mini-excavators in tight spaces, as well as their compatibility with a variety of attachments. The demonstration featured a machine that swiftly transitioned from a standard bucket to a clean-up bucket and then to a crushing attachment, exemplifying its multifunctionality. After witnessing the versatility in action, the contractor commented, 'This is exactly what I'm looking for.'

The highlighted excavators are crafted to enhance productivity while minimizing the total ownership cost across a variety of construction activities. One notable feature of the exhibition was the launch of two new models from XCMG's Pro Series: the XE27U PRO and the XE45U PRO. The XE27U PRO is equipped with a superior propulsion system along with faster travel speeds, providing operators with enhanced control and comfort, particularly in confined areas. Meanwhile, the XE45U PRO boasts impressive breakout force and quick hydraulic response, supported by a reinforced and widened undercarriage that ensures greater stability and implement compatibility.

Both models garnered immediate orders from established North American dealers on the opening day of the expo, highlighting the high demand for equipment that meets local operational conditions. One client expressed the sentiment that they were not simply seeking a machine; they were looking for a partner who truly understands the North American market.

Intelligent Control System for Future Operations

XCMG is also at the forefront of technological advancement with its next-generation Intelligent Control System, ICS2.0, which integrates enhanced AI-based control algorithms. This innovation supports precision functions such as automated trench digging, leveling assistance, and controlled crushing operations. The system is versatile, encompassing multiple operational modes aimed at streamlining workflows and ensuring consistent performance on-site.

Among the machines on display, the XE355UCR excavator stands out, featuring eight smart auxiliary functions, including open trench leveling assistance, intelligent weighing, electronic geofencing, and rollover alerts. These functionalities empower operators to improve measurement accuracy, operational efficiency, and safety amidst complex job site challenges.

As XCMG continues to refine its product offerings and tailor solutions to regional market needs, it solidifies its expanding presence in the North American construction equipment sector. As contractors increasingly adopt advanced and intelligent equipment solutions, XCMG remains committed to collaborating with dealers and partners worldwide to support their customers' long-term success.
