This service will be operational from June 13 to August 23, 2026, at the Nakafurano Town-operated parking lot, coinciding with the peak tourist season for lavender blooms.

Each year, the town attracts a multitude of visitors during the lavender season, primarily from June to August. The Nakafurano Town-operated parking lot serves as a convenient access point for popular tourist attractions such as the Hokuseiyama Lavender Garden. Traditionally, this parking lot is free of charge; however, to ensure safety on surrounding roads and improve local infrastructure, a fee will be instituted during the specified period. Under this arrangement, regular vehicles will be charged 500 yen per entry, while larger buses will incur a fee of 2,000 yen.

To facilitate this transition to a paid parking service, Times 24 will deploy the mobile management solutions provided by the "Times Parking Caravan." This service includes advanced features such as cashless payment systems and vehicle number recognition cameras, enabling an efficient operation tailored for temporary parking needs during events. By leveraging these technologies, the service aims to streamline entry and exit processes for visitors while reducing the need for on-site personnel.
