CHERY's Commitment to Family Safety Highlighted in TIGGO7 Crash Test Event

On October 22, 2026, CHERY showcased its commitment to family safety during the CHERY Brand Safety Challenge held at the Longshan Crash Laboratory in Wuhu, China. Under the poignant theme "Guardian. For Family," the event gathered international media, automotive opinion leaders, and families to witness a live crash test of the TIGGO7 vehicle.

A Strong Message of Safety

Liang Yugen, the head of CHERY's automotive division, opened the proceedings by emphasizing that safety is a fundamental requirement in vehicle manufacturing and market entry, not merely an optional feature. He noted the TIGGO7's stellar performance, having received five-star ratings from esteemed safety organizations including C-NCAP, Euro NCAP, ANCAP (Australia), and ASEAN NCAP. These accolades reflect CHERY's dedicated mission to ensure safety and reliability for users worldwide, encapsulated in their motto, "In some place, for that place, being there."

The event seamlessly tied an immersive family presentation with a video showcasing outdoor journeys, leading up to the live crash test that exemplified everyday family safety commitments. The crash test, involving a collision at 50 km/h against a truck, was broadcasted live via an LED screen, heightening spectators' anticipation and engagement.

High Stakes in Safety Testing

As the countdown ended, the TIGGO7 underwent the crash test while an audience observed intently. Safety expert Li Jun took charge of explaining the detailed results to attendees. On impact, the eCall system was automatically activated to summon emergency assistance. Remarkably, the vehicle's A and B pillars along with the doors remained intact, showing no significant damage to the cabin area, while the seatbelt pretensioners and airbags deployed in synchrony to safeguard the crash test dummies.

Real Stories from Real Users

The event also featured a session dubbed the “Guardian Club,” where CHERY owners from around the globe shared their personal stories. They recounted instances where the robustness of the vehicle's structure had shielded them during accidents or how active safety features had spared them from potential dangers. As highlighted in concluding remarks, "Thanks to CHERY, these families returned home safe and sound even on their worst days. This isn't mere luck; it's capability. This is 'Guardian. For Family.'"

During the CHERY International User Summit 2026, the company reiterated its focus on vehicular safety while unveiling the global launch of AiMOGA Robotics, which explores intelligent technology designed for family life. The underlying message remains clear: CHERY is committed to rigorous testing standards and advanced safety technologies to ensure families are protected on every journey.

In a world where vehicle safety is paramount, the TIGGO7 has stepped up to prove its mettle, making CHERY a leader in prioritizing family safety on the roads.
