Students' Christmas Card Gallery Lights Up Omiya's Holiday Spirit for 2025!

The Human Academy Omiya School is excited to participate in the annual Christmas event "Tontu Christmas 2025" held at the Omiya Gate Street, a vibrant complex that opened in 2022 near Omiya Station. Building upon the success of last year, this year's festivities will feature a student-crafted Christmas card gallery, various exhibits, and an awards ceremony designed to foster community connections and celebrate local culture.

A Tradition of Community Engagement

The Human Academy Omiya School has a rich history of student participation in events aiming at skill enhancement and community contribution. Previous collaborations include pop-up events at Omiya Marui, the design of bicycle theft prevention posters for local police, and creating illustrations for historical manga published by the Jomo Newspaper. This year's Christmas project aims not only to beautify the Omiya Gate Street but also to stimulate local revitalization through an illustration contest linked to the Christmas event.

- Learning from Experts: We had a unique opportunity to learn about Christmas from former Finnish Ambassador, Mr. Kimura, and hope to apply this knowledge in our creations.
- Creative Growth: This project emphasized the importance of research and investigation in enhancing our artwork.
- Parental Feedback: Parents expressed happiness in seeing their children's work publicly displayed, which is rarely an option.

The Human Academy Omiya School offers courses in performing arts, manga and illustration, video creation, e-sports, business, IT, and more. Additionally, two new colleges focusing on dance and music will launch in April 2026.
