Pharos Capital’s Baroco Expands to Agawam, MA
Pharos Capital Group, a Dallas and Nashville-based investment firm established by physicians, has announced an exciting expansion of its portfolio. Baroco Corporation, a leading provider of support and day programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), has just opened a new facility in Agawam, Massachusetts. This strategic move not only marks Baroco’s growth but also signifies a crucial enhancement in services available to adults with I/DD in a previously underserved area.
With this new location, Baroco now manages a total of six facilities, collectively supporting over 330 individuals across Massachusetts and Connecticut. Since receiving investment from Pharos in 2023, the company has prioritized expanding its reach and service quality.
Baroco’s programs are meticulously designed to cater to adults with I/DD, offering a comprehensive day program that includes integrated therapies such as Occupational Therapy, Behavior Management, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy. These services are personalized, aiming to foster functional skills across various domains, thereby promoting independence among clients. The new Agawam facility embodies Baroco’s commitment to providing high-quality care in an enriching environment.

We are excited to support Baroco’s management team as it expands its services through this new location that reaches the highest acuity and most fragile members of the Agawam and greater Springfield community.”
