Mirai Wealth Management's Strategic Bitcoin Acquisition
Mirai Wealth Management, a subsidiary of our group, has made significant strides in strengthening its investment strategy by purchasing additional Bitcoin. As per our announcement dated March 11, 2025, during the respective board meeting, a decision was made to acquire cryptocurrency worth 500 million yen. On March 13, 2025, and April 9, 2025, we disclosed the purchase of approximately 400 million yen worth of Bitcoin, emphasizing our commitment to this digital asset.
The recent downturn in Bitcoin prices since November 2025, attributed to the declining expectations of interest rate cuts in the United States and adjustments in the tech stock market, has presented an opportune moment for investment. Capital has been withdrawn from risk assets, and we have seized this as a chance to increase our Bitcoin holdings, purchasing an additional 100 million yen worth of Bitcoin up to today.
With these acquisitions, we have fulfilled our initial resolution to conduct a total purchase of 500 million yen, achieving around 500 million yen in cumulative purchases. Moving forward, our company is considering more active management of our cryptocurrency investments. We pledge to publicly disclose any significant developments in a timely manner.
