Beginning today, the "Sales Channel Development Support Package" for female founders in Meguro will open for applications, targeting 10 selected businesses. This marks the first time the Tokyo Chamber is offering an exclusive support program for women entrepreneurs.

Meguro is known for its high proportion of women among its residents, and is home to numerous female entrepreneurs engaged in retail and personal service industries. Many of these businesses operate from home, share rental spaces, or conduct sales online. However, the rising costs of rent and labor force many female founders to hesitate in expanding their business operations into dedicated storefronts.

In response to this challenge, the Meguro branch provides a comprehensive support package specifically designed for female entrepreneurs who have been in business for less than five years and who operate B2C enterprises. The package includes:
1. A seminar on sales channel development
2. An exhibition booth at the Jiyugaoka Goddess Festival, where businesses can showcase samples
3. Individual follow-up sessions with experts
4. Promotion of their business on a dedicated website created by the Meguro branch of the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce

This program is offered at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis, providing significant opportunities for participating businesses.
