Global Lyme Alliance Welcomes Jennifer W. Katritos as CEO



On April 14, 2026, the Global Lyme Alliance (GLA), a prominent nonprofit dedicated to advancing research, education, and patient support for Lyme disease and other tick-borne conditions, announced the appointment of Jennifer W. Katritos as its Chief Executive Officer, effective from April 1, 2026. With over 25 years of extensive experience in finance, operations, and executive leadership, Katritos is poised to lead GLA into its next phase of growth and impact.

Previously, Katritos served as the Chief Operating Officer at GLA, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing the organization’s operational framework, expanding strategic partnerships, and improving financial management. Her strategic insight and dedication were instrumental in supporting the organization’s growing research and education initiatives against Lyme disease.

Before her tenure at GLA, Katritos held several senior roles in the biopharmaceutical and nonprofit sectors, including Vice President of Finance at Curemark, LLC and Director of Finance at the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. She launched her career at Deloitte Touche, where she earned her CPA and served as a Strategic Advisor while co-chairing the Board of Directors for the Afya Foundation.

Paul Ross, Chairman of the Board at GLA, expressed confidence in Katritos' capabilities, stating, “Her combination of financial expertise, operational leadership, and deep commitment to our mission uniquely positions GLA to broaden its impact and accelerate progress for patients.”

In her new role, Katritos emphasized her honor in leading GLA during such a crucial time.
