Renaissance Expands with Two New Rehabilitation Facilities
In an exciting move, Renaissance Company has announced the opening of two new rehabilitation-focused day services named
Renaissance 元氣ジム東久留米 and
Renaissance 元氣ジム目白台. With their headquarters in Sumida, Tokyo, the company aims to enhance the lives of individuals seeking rehabilitation support. This marks a significant addition to their existing network, which includes 29 directly operated facilities and 10 franchise locations, along with five home nursing stations.
Vision for a Healthier Future
Renaissance strives to become a health solution company dedicated to enriching the lives of people in the era of a 100-year life expectancy. Their mission extends beyond providing rehabilitation services; they are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for community engagement and personal growth.
Unique Features of New Facilities
The newly established gyms are designed for individuals who may have some physical difficulties yet desire to maintain independence and mobility. They focus on enhancing walking capabilities, which is essential for many users.
The rehabilitation approach begins with a warm-up involving
Synapsology®, an original program developed by Renaissance that stimulates cognitive functions and neural pathways. This is followed by both group and individual exercises tailored to improving walking ability and swallowing functions.
Group Exercises
During group sessions, participants engage in exercises that target the muscles necessary for walking. Utilizing large screen visuals, these sessions incorporate
Redcord equipment to promote weight shift and balance, key elements for stable walking.
Individual Training Sessions
In addition to group activities, the facilities will offer personalized training using specialized equipment. Devices such as weight-sensing machines will help individuals regain a normal awareness of foot pressure, while alternating step devices will promote natural improvement in walking patterns. The use of self-propelled treadmills allows participants to practice real walking movements, thus reinforcing their functional walking abilities in daily life.
