LG Electronics' WashTower™ Reaches Impressive Sales Milestone
In a remarkable achievement for home appliance innovation, LG Electronics recently announced that its WashTower™ laundry solution has sold over 3.2 million units globally since its launch. This development marks a pivotal moment for the company, reflecting the increasing demand for space-efficient and energy-saving solutions in modern households.
A Game-Changer in Laundry Solutions
The LG WashTower™ combines a washer and dryer into a single, compact unit designed to save space and enhance user convenience. First launched in 2020, the WashTower integrates LG's advanced technologies, including AI DD™ (Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive) and the DUAL Inverter HeatPump™, which optimize performance while ensuring that garments are protected from damage.
A Global Perspective
The WashTower™ has gained popularity across various international markets, with significant sales results: over 1.6 million units in North America, 160,000 in Latin America, and 130,000 in Asia. Throughout its availability in 77 countries, this innovative product has met the growing consumer need for effective laundry solutions that combine ease of use with technological advancement.
Smart Technologies for a Convenient Experience
The WashTower™ stands out due to its intelligent features. The AI DD™ technology adjusts washing cycles based on the load weight, fabric type, and soil level, ensuring an optimum cleaning process that also minimizes wear and tear on clothes. Coupled with the DUAL Inverter HeatPump™, the WashTower™ effectively dries clothes at low temperatures, which is not only gentle on fabrics but also energy-efficient.
Additionally, its Smart Pairing™ function allows seamless communication between the washer and dryer. This means that after a wash cycle, the dryer can automatically select the best drying settings, making the process more straightforward for users. The Prepare to Dry feature also preheats the dryer in preparation for the washing cycle’s completion, reducing the total time spent on laundry.

Recognizing the diverse needs of its customers, LG is continuously evolving its laundry lineup. The company plans to launch new models along with additional AI features and a broader range of color options to cater to various consumer preferences and lifestyle requirements.
