The Games of the Future Abu Dhabi 2025, presented by ADNOC, has officially wrapped up after an exhilarating six-day event filled with high-octane competition that showcased cutting-edge sports and technology. The event attracted more than 850 participants hailing from over 60 countries, competing across 11 electrifying disciplines that highlighted the intersection of physical and digital sports. Phygital Drone Racing, combining elite piloting skills with intense competition. For the first time ever in the Middle East, the
VR-Game HADO Global Invitation captivated local fans, marking a significant milestone in the region's gaming landscape.
As the audience tuned in from all corners of the globe, the games were broadcast live via a dedicated OTT platform that offered coverage in more than 13 languages. The event generated massive online engagement, with hundreds of millions tuning in across various social media platforms and streaming sites, cementing its status as a cornerstone event in the phygital sports calendar.
A Future Beyond Abu Dhabi

Phygital Contenders tournaments, encouraging local and international athletes to participate across multiple disciplines.
The bidding process for
host cities for future iterations of the Games has also been opened, signaling a broader global expansion for the event. Hatt added, “The transition of the Phygital Flame to Astana marks the next thrilling chapter for both the phygital movement and the Games of the Future.”
