JAL and Gundam Team Up for a Unique Dining Experience in Osaka

Starting September 5, 2025, Japan Airlines (JAL) will launch a special collaboration with Gundam, introducing a themed restaurant bus that will operate three times a day from the Osaka World Expo site to downtown Osaka. This initiative is a part of the "JAL x GUNDAM FLY TO THE FUTURE PROJECT," aimed at providing an extraordinary experience to both Gundam enthusiasts and attendees of the Expo.

The restaurant bus will run from the West Gate of the Expo venue, Yumesaki, accommodating passengers during the crowded evening hours until October 13, when the Expo concludes. The bus provides a unique opportunity for visitors to enjoy a gourmet meal from famous Osaka establishments, creating lasting memories tied to their Expo experience.

One of the bus's standout features is its exclusive menu curated by renowned, Michelin-starred restaurants including "Yugen," a Japanese fine dining place in Uehommachi, "Lumiere," a French cuisine restaurant in Shinsaibashi, and "Oryori Yamada" in Nishitenma. These chefs have tailored original dishes specifically for this initiative, which will be served fresh as guests travel back to the city.
