The Koyomi Life Exhibition, organized by Shin Nippon Calendar Co., will be held at Keibunsha Ichijoji in Kyoto for two days only on December 13th and 14th, 2025. This event celebrates 'calendar life,' a culture deeply embedded in Japanese traditions and aesthetics. Koyomi Life is a prominent calendar media outlet, boasting a combined social media following exceeding 600,000, illustrating its popularity and engagement with seasonal celebrations.

Event Highlights

The exhibition invites visitors to explore a variety of unique displays, including:

1. Sales of 2026 Calendars and Planners

Expect a rich collection of over 40 types of calendars and planners, ranging from palm-sized day-to-day calendars to visually stunning seasonal designs. This is the perfect opportunity to find your personal calendar for the upcoming year.

2. Workshop: Mini Kumade Making (Pre-registration Preferred)

Visitors can participate in a hands-on experience by creating a mini kumade, a traditional Japanese rake adorned with auspicious decorations such as seashells and coins. This craft symbolizes gathering good fortune and makes for a beautiful addition to your home as a good luck charm for the new year. Early reservations are recommended through the provided booking form.

3. Historical Calendar Exhibit: 'Evolution of the Calendar'

Take a nostalgic journey through time with a small exhibition showcasing the history of calendars spanning over a century. Featuring designs from the Taisho, Showa, and Heisei periods, this display highlights changes in design and printing technology while offering insights into the evolution of calendar culture in Japan.

4. Interactive Project: 'My Calendar'

Visitors are invited to write down significant seasons or important dates for them and display them on the walls of the exhibition space. This culminates in a collaborative vision of 'everyone's calendar,' creating a unique atmosphere in the venue.

5. Reveal of New Koyomi Life Products

Discover Koyomi Life's new offerings, including the IROAWASE series, which beautifully captures the essence of seasonal colors inspired by traditional Japanese sweets.
