Expanding Horizons: Pan Global's Latest Mining Discovery in Spain



In a significant development within the mining sector, Pan Global Resources Inc. has revealed promising results from their recent sampling efforts at the Providencia site, part of the Cármenes Project located in northern Spain. The results provide an exciting glimpse into the mineral potential of the region, known for its rich geological characteristics.

On August 21, 2025, Pan Global made an announcement that detailed a comprehensive channel sampling, highlighting extensive high-grade mineralization of key metals such as copper, cobalt, nickel, and gold. Notably, the sampling returned striking assays including 4.17% copper, 2.68% nickel, 1.28% cobalt, and 0.88 g/t gold over five meters. Remarkably, within this interval, there was even a sample that peaked at 11.0% copper, 4.47% nickel, 2.47% cobalt, and 1.34 g/t gold over one meter, alongside 7.0 g/t silver.

Background and Geology


The Cármenes Project is strategically located approximately 55 kilometers north of León and is recognized for its potential to host clusters of high-grade mineralization. The terrain features multi-phase hydrothermal breccia systems rich in copper and associated metals. Mines in the area, including Providencia and the nearby Profunda, have historical significance, having operated in the earlier part of the 20th century.

He stated that the recent findings substantiate the historically rich sulfide mineralization present in the Providencia mine, which dates back around 100 years. The data collected from the newly identified areas provides an important understanding of the geological controls behind the mineralization and suggests potential for further expansion.

Drilling Activities and Future Prospects


As part of the ongoing exploration efforts, drilling is currently underway to evaluate a newly identified gold target on the Providencia site. This follows the promising results from the channel sampling that confirmed the presence of high-grade copper, nickel, cobalt, and gold over considerable intervals. The exploration team is particularly interested in the area to the west, where the richest samples were obtained, and expansion of the sulfide breccia zone is anticipated.

In addition, recent geological mapping and surface sampling have indicated a vast system of hydrothermal breccias that could be significant for future mining activities. This system is believed to extend both laterally and vertically, offering a broader scope for exploration.

Ongoing Exploration and Regional Context


The exploration isn't contained solely to Providencia. Pan Global is also focusing on other targets within the Cármenes Project, such as the Profunda target located just a kilometer to the south. With a solid geological framework and historical mining success, the company is poised to uncover further valuable mineral deposits.

In parallel, work is progressing on their flagship project, Escacena, located in Spain's Iberian Pyrite Belt, aiming to enhance the current copper, tin, and silver resources. The company is committed to producing a technical report in compliance with the NI 43-101 standards to estimate mineral resources for the La Romana deposit, enhancing shareholder value through informed decision-making.
