TUMS and DraftKings Launch Fantasy Foodball Pool for Gameday Enthusiasts

TUMS Teams Up with DraftKings for an Exciting Gameday Experience

As the excitement builds for one of the biggest days in football, TUMS has partnered with DraftKings to launch a unique initiative that marries culinary delight with the beloved sport. The TUMS Fantasy Foodball Pool is a thrilling new online platform where fans can draft their favorite food and drink combinations, providing a fun way to engage with friends and family while watching the game. This first-of-its-kind game allows participants to create a lineup from a diverse menu of popular gameday foods, offering them a chance to win a share of an impressive $40,000 in cash prizes.

Survey Insights and Gameday Traditions

According to a recent survey conducted by TUMS, it was revealed that a significant 1 in 4 viewers prioritize food as the true most valuable player (MVP) during game time. With the game-day atmosphere buzzing, food enthusiasts are eager to explore various culinary options that enhance their watching experience. The survey highlighted that 54% of respondents believe the food spread could make or break their game day experience.

Fans can visit DraftKings.com/TUMSFoodball to participate in the TUMS Fantasy Foodball Pool and are invited to draft from four themed rounds featuring traditional favorites: tailgate foods, spicy foods, sweet foods, and New Orleans cuisine. Each round runs for a duration of one week, beginning January 6 and concluding just before the Big Game, encouraging fans to create diverse food lineups that reflect their unique tastes and preferences.

Popular Choices and Culinary Celebrations

The menu includes 36 delectable options that reflect the most popular choices among football fans, including barbecue, hot wings, seven-layer dip, brownies, chicken tenders, nachos, pizza, and buffalo chicken dip. As fans gear up for their food picks, they may also face the all-too-common aftermath of indulgent eating: heartburn. In fact, 1 in 4 survey participants reported that heartburn is a notable concern when navigating gameday banquets. TUMS seeks to address this issue, offering a quick and effective solution to provide relief and ensure fans can fully enjoy their culinary favorites.

Vince Wilfork as Spokesperson

This initiative has been championed by former professional football player Vince Wilfork, who is lending his expertise as a cooking enthusiast and TUMS user. Wilfork emphasizes that nothing should come between fans and their cherished game day foods. With a penchant for barbecue brisket, hot wings, sliders, and brownies, Wilfork assures fans that TUMS is the go-to remedy for those occasional heartburn issues that can arise from indulgent feasting.

Engaging with the Fans

In conjunction with the Fantasy Foodball Pool, TUMS is set to kick off its Big Game Weekend in New Orleans, a city celebrated for its rich food culture. An exciting public event at Bourbon Heat on February 7 will offer visitors a taste of TUMS Chewy Bites, exclusive merchandise, and engaging activities highlighting the final Foodball Pool round, creating an unforgettable gameday celebration.

Patricia Melo, Brand Director for TUMS, expressed enthusiasm about fans’ passions, stating, “Food is clearly a big part of any football watch party, and we’re excited to provide a competitive way for fans to celebrate their love of gameday bites.” Last year’s successful collaboration between TUMS and DraftKings cemented the demand for food-centric experiences, indicating a promising future for such innovative engagements.

As the countdown to the big day begins, food lovers and football fans alike can embrace the spirit of competition, excitement, and culinary delight with TUMS and DraftKings.
