Discover SAKI CHIARA's Cosmic Art Unveiled at ADF Art Gallery
ADF (Aoyama Design Forum) is proud to announce the 40th installment of its
ADF Art Gallery Project, featuring a solo exhibition by the talented artist
SAKI CHIARA. This exciting showcase, titled
'ココロに宇宙を – DOUDEMOYOI' (Heart and Universe – DOUDEMOYOI), will be held from
April 3 to April 15, 2026, at the esteemed
GARDE Gallery in Omotesando, Tokyo. Mark your calendars for the opening reception on
April 3 (Friday) from
7 PM to 9 PM, and don't miss the chance to engage with SAKI CHIARA's transformative works.
Born to an Italian-Australian father and a Japanese mother, SAKI CHIARA has cultivated a unique artistic voice that explores themes of
space, beauty, love, and light. Through her art, she manifests intangible energies into tangible forms, inviting viewers to connect with her vision.
At the heart of the exhibition lies a distinct concept introduced by SAKI CHIARA called
'DOUDEMOYOI'. This phrase translates to ideas of acceptance, such as
'It's all good',
'Don't worry about it', and
'Everything's fine'. While it may sound casual or dismissive at first, it embodies a profound acceptance rather than resignation. It conveys a vastness, depth, and strength in embracing all aspects of life. This philosophy serves as a powerful message in today’s complex society, encouraging individuals to break free from rigid perspectives.
DOUDEMOYOI evokes a sense of empowerment, reminding us that each person exists within the universe and has a place that affirms their existence. By quietly repeating the mantra
'DOUDEMOYOI', one can surrender to the infinite possibilities ahead, cultivating a unique blossom that shines somewhere in the cosmos.
As you embrace the essence of
DOUDEMOYOI, imagine nurturing your personal flower, which continues to grow and thrive. With every affirmation, this flower blossoms in the rich soil of infinite potential, radiating beauty in the universe. The sincerity of SAKI CHIARA's artwork reflects a direct gaze at the laws of the universe, illustrating that
'everything has meaning, and nothing has meaning'.
Time and time again,
DOUDEMOYOI will remind you that it is always present, beckoning you to explore its depths—deepening your understanding and appreciation of existence itself.
