Discover Canada's Most Cat-Friendly Cities for 2026
PetSmart has officially released its second annual ranking of Canada's top 25 cat-loving cities, unveiled just in time for the National Adoption Week scheduled from July 20-26, 2026. This event celebrates the importance of adopting pets and the joy they bring to families. According to Aimee Gilbreath, President of PetSmart Charities of Canada, cats play an increasingly vital role in the lives of Canadians across the nation. The ranking highlights the trend of embracing feline companions, as communities rally around cat adoption while purchasing various products to pamper their pets.
