Midea Energy and CLOU Electronics Unveil Advanced Energy Storage Solutions at The Smarter E Europe 2026

Midea Energy and CLOU Electronics Showcase Innovative Energy Solutions at The Smarter E Europe 2026

The bustling city of Munich, Germany, serves as the backdrop for The Smarter E Europe 2026, a pivotal event highlighting advancements in energy solutions. From June 25, 2026, industry leaders gathered to explore the latest innovations in energy storage, and on this grand stage, Midea Energy and CLOU Electronics emerged at the forefront, unveiling a suite of advanced energy storage solutions tailored for the dynamic European market.

At their joint exhibition booth, CLOU Electronics showcased its extensive expertise in energy storage technologies, addressing a range of market needs with pioneering products, innovative designs, and fully integrated energy systems. Among the most notable presentations was the Aqua-C3.0 Ultra, a state-of-the-art energy storage system designed primarily for large-scale applications. This remarkable unit boasts a capacity of 5,154 MWh, all contained within a compact 10-foot container that weighs less than 39 tons. Such specifications allow for optimal balance between capacity, dimensions, and weight, translating to lower logistics costs, reduced footprint, and simplified installation processes.

For commercial and industrial applications, CLOU's presentation of the Aqua-E261 system highlighted its commitment to safety, high returns, and user-friendly maintenance. This innovative device utilizes 314 Ah battery cells and features an impressive 261 kWh capacity per cabinet. Coupled with a sustainable cooling system that maintains a temperature difference of less than 2.5°C across cells, this system meets the rigorous demands of large-scale European customers.

Additionally, Midea Energy showcased a comprehensive energy solution designed specifically for AI data center applications. This solution leverages CLOU's expertise in energy storage alongside Midea's advancements in cooling technologies, smart manufacturing, and global supply chain management. The integrated platform connects energy storage systems, HVDC, SST, BBU, and Midea's maglev cooling generators, thereby creating a robust architectural framework suitable for next-generation supercomputing facilities.

As the trend towards larger capacity battery cells evolves, CLOU acknowledges the challenges posed by slight inconsistencies in cell performance. To counteract this, they released a white paper detailing the implementation of DC-DC energy transfer technology at the cell level. This innovative approach establishes a two-way energy distribution channel among battery cells, effectively managing consistency and enhancing revenue cycles by approximately 4% throughout the system's life cycle.

Participation in The Smarter E Europe is crucial for Midea Energy as they pursue their foreign strategy under CLOU's leadership. The company has implemented numerous large-scale energy storage projects across Europe, including installations in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and North Macedonia. With over 50 energy storage sites for commercial and industrial purposes across Europe, including Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands, CLOU is poised to continue leveraging Midea Group's comprehensive resources and global execution capabilities. Together, they aim to be a long-term partner in Europe’s energy transformation.

The energy landscape is rapidly changing, and as demonstrated by the innovations unveiled at The Smarter E Europe 2026, Midea Energy and CLOU Electronics are leading the way in promoting sustainable energy solutions that meet the diverse needs of the market.
