In her three years in the ProAV industry, Michaela has broadened her expertise to include media server programming and 3D animation. Rick Nelson – Executive Project Manager

Rick Nelson brings a wealth of experience to McCann Systems as an Executive Project Manager. With over 30 years of industry experience, Rick's background covers control systems, show control automation, and live event production. He has a robust academic foundation, holding dual Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, complemented by a minor in Philosophy.

Rick's career is highlighted by his extensive work with Disney Cruise Line, where he was instrumental in developing innovative entertainment systems for major projects, including the re-imagining of the Disney 'Magic' ship and 'Marvel's Avengers Academy'. He has successfully managed large-scale projects across various industries, including The Summit at One Vanderbilt, the Friends™ Experience in NYC, and Legoland in Goshen, NY, among others.

With certifications like CTS and AMX Certified Programmer–Expert (ACE-E), Rick's capabilities in managing complex initiatives solidify his position as an invaluable asset to the McCann team and its McCannX ProAV experiential division.
