Before his tenure at Google, he was the Global Head of Energy Policy at the tech giant and managed multiple government affair responsibilities within the company.

At TVA, he engaged in significant energy policy discussions, addressing topics from nuclear energy to transmission planning. His outreach initiatives involved critical interactions with federal agencies, including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Nick Pearson's political journey includes contributions to several state and federal campaigns in Georgia, alongside a previous role as Vice President of Government and Political Affairs for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. There, he represented the interests of a vast membership base of 4,500 members. Early in his career, he lent his skills to the legislative staff of U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson and the Georgia General Assembly.

Pearson holds a Bachelor of Science in political science and speech communications from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.
