A Unique Experience for Cosplayers in Niigata
The Niigata International Animation Film Festival (NIAFF) is excited to announce the launch of special tours designed for cosplayers, providing them with the opportunity to engage in photoshoots at some of the region's renowned cultural and historical landmarks. This initiative comes in preparation for the much-anticipated NIAFF WORCOS, a world cosplay event scheduled to take place alongside the main festival from March 15-20, 2025.
Photoshoot Locations
Cosplayers have a chance to select from a list of 17 stunning locations around Niigata and its surrounding areas. These shooting venues include not just historical sites like castles and former residences but also contemporary museums and striking monuments. For this event, cosplayers will be granted special permission to shoot at locations that typically prohibit photography, thereby adding a unique dimension to their cosplay experience.
