This line includes two innovative products: the "One-Sided Bra" developed in collaboration with talent Anna Umemiya, and the "Front-Open Bra." Background Context

According to a report published by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in January, approximately 102,000 new cases of breast cancer are anticipated in 2023, marking it as the most prevalent cancer diagnosis among women. Notably, the five-year survival rate for those diagnosed in 2018 was reported to be 88.4%. This statistic emphasizes the pressing need to focus on improving the quality of life for patients undergoing treatment or recovering from surgery.

Recognizing this need, Aderans has developed garments that cater specifically to patients who have undergone breast cancer treatments or surgeries. The design prioritizes a "gentle fit" to accommodate sensitive skin following surgery, and features two styles tailored for comfort: the one-sided and front-open bras.

The "One-Sided Bra" was created in collaboration with Anna Umemiya, who underwent a mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024. This collaboration arose from Umemiya's personal experiences and challenges in finding suitable innerwear post-surgery. With limited options available, especially in Japan, she was motivated to create a product that would offer comfort and support for similar patients. Additionally, a portion of the sales will be donated to the Japan Cancer Society's "Smile Fund."
