New Eco-Friendly Shibukawa Center Opening Ceremony
On May 22, 2025, at 10:30 AM, the opening ceremony and facility tour for the Shibukawa Center will be held in Ikko, Shibukawa City. This new center will serve as a relocation point for the previous operations in the city and will function as a delivery hub while also being a community space for residents to gather.
Enhancing Work Conditions and Community Collaboration
The previous center, which had been operational for 42 years in Shibukawa City, faced challenges related to aging infrastructure and the need for improved working conditions. To address these issues, the new facility has been constructed with a steel-frame two-story storage building and office space. It includes a yard that can accommodate up to 26 delivery trucks, providing a more efficient workflow.
Office areas have been expanded, featuring improved amenities such as a cafeteria, break rooms, and changing facilities to foster a more comfortable working environment. The center will also house new amenities intended for local residents and users of the delivery service, including a dedicated entrance for a multipurpose room, a cooking facility, and rest areas. These spaces can be utilized for events, workshops, and cooking classes, aiming to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
