The 16th Eucalia Friendship Meeting: A Call for Empathetic Management in a VUCA World

On July 12, 2025, the Eucalia Corporation will host the 16th Eucalia Friendship Meeting at the Toranomon Hills Forum in Tokyo, Japan. This year's event marks a significant milestone as Eucalia celebrates its 20th anniversary. The central theme for this meeting is "Promoting Empathetic Management in a VUCA Era."

Key Speakers

The event will kick off with a keynote speech by Takeshi Okada, former head coach of the Japan national football team and current chairman of Imabari Dream Sports. In the afternoon session, Masayuki Iwade, former director of the rugby team at Teikyo University and director of the university's sports bureau, will deliver another keynote address. Both speakers have a rich background in leading organizations to success and transforming the sports industry. They will share insights on building collaboration to realize Eucalia's vision for the "industrialization of healthcare" and discuss what the ideal structure for medical and caregiving organizations should look like.

Following a hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be relaunched in 2024 with a new name and broadened focus, welcoming various stakeholders from academia, pharmaceutical companies, financial institutions, and investors.
