West Coast Community Bank (WCCB) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mark Gouvion as the Chief Operations Officer. Gouvion's extensive experience in the banking industry spans nearly three decades, bringing a wealth of operational leadership, strategic transformation, and a commitment to client-focused innovation.
In his new role, Gouvion will oversee various aspects of the bank's operations, specifically focusing on business and retail banking, treasury management, and enhancing the eBanking experience for clients across WCCB’s service areas, which include Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties. His mandate will include refining the client experience strategy to ensure a seamless and engaging banking journey for all customers.

Gouvion previously served as the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Banking at Pacific Premier Bank, where he managed a five-state retail network and implemented innovative initiatives to improve operational efficiency and client interaction. He has also held significant executive positions at Opus Bank, U.S. Bank, and First Federal Bank of California, building an impressive portfolio of accomplishments that set the stage for his role at WCCB.
