In a significant announcement on September 16, 2026, QS Quacquarelli Symonds revealed its 2027 Global MBA and Business Master's Rankings, showcasing an extensive analysis of over 420 MBA programs from around the world. With entries spanning 65 countries and territories, this year's rankings highlight the dominance of the United States in graduate management education.

For the first time in history, MIT Sloan School of Management has been crowned as the world's premier MBA program. The institution achieved exceptional results in the categories of Employability and Thought Leadership, solidifying its position as a leader in the field. Following closely are notable contenders from the US: Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, which claim the second, third, and fourth spots respectively.

The notable increase in US representation is evidenced by the 150 institutions featured in the rankings, amplifying from 124 last year, solidifying the nation’s status as a powerhouse in business education.
