Zhejiang's Fine Products at the 5th CICPE
From April 13 to 18, 2025, the 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) takes place in Haikou, Hainan, marking a significant event for showcasing Zhejiang's artisanal offerings. Under the theme "New Consumption Trends, New Technological Forces," the exhibition features a dedicated section titled "Zhejiang's Fine Products: A Legacy of Excellence," which introduces global product launches from notable brands like Lingban Technology (the parent company of Rokid), OSM, and Hu Qing Yu Tang.
The exhibition aims to showcase how Zhejiang combines traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. Visitors can expect a hybrid presentation format that blends physical showcases and virtual experiences. This dynamic approach allows attendees to explore over 200 products from 18 participating brands, reflecting both longstanding traditional arts and contemporary consumer goods.
One of the key attractions is the online exhibition co-developed with Taobao and Tmall Group of Alibaba, which enhances the reach of the Zhejiang brands in the digital space.
On April 14, the expo features a significant global product launch session titled “New Discoveries at the CICPE,” highlighting three innovative products: the Rokid AI+AR glasses, the 2025 edition of OSM’s Calming Whitening Essence, and Hu Qing Yu Tang's “Light Wellness Rescue at Work” series, aimed at health-conscious young professionals.
Throughout the exposition, Gu Xiaoyu, a virtual reality host from Zhejiang Satellite TV, serves as the digital news presenter, delivering real-time updates. Attendees engage in interactive experiences that appeal to all senses, including taste, sight, sound, smell, and touch, while experiencing historical products from Zhejiang.
Traditional crafts displayed include Dongyang wood carving, Wanfeng carpentry, Hu Qing Yu Tang's traditional Chinese medicine, and Longjing tea from Shibake.
The initiative has garnered support from notable figures such as Zhu Zhu, the spokesperson for OSM Skincare; Shen Zhirong, founder of OSM, affectionately known as “Grandpa Pearl”; Zhu Mingming, founder and CEO of Rokid; and Chen Yunhan, chairman and CEO of Hu Qing Yu Tang.
The expo has attracted significant media attention both domestically and internationally, as organizers aim to elevate the Zhejiang brand profile globally through live streaming, press conferences, and short promotional videos, aligning with China's broader strategy to enhance its consumer goods sector's international competitiveness.
