This year, fans of the popular TV anime "Blue Lock" have something special to look forward to as exclusive merchandise becomes available at three historic temples in the Kansai region. After last year’s overwhelming success, omamori (amulets), goshuin (temple stamps), and goshuin notebooks reflecting the spirit of "Blue Lock" are set to be available for purchase at Hieizan Enryakuji, Kaiko-san Saikyoji, and Ryoke-san Matsuo Kannonji from October 15, 2023, to December 14, 2024.

The limited-edition items include:
  • - Goshuin Notebook - ¥3,300 (one design available)
Available at both the temples and online. Each notebook comes with a special prayer seal when acquired at the temple.
  • - Goshuin - ¥1,200 (three designs)
- Seiryu Kiyoshi / Itoshi Rin (Kaiko-san Saikyoji)
- Bachira Raichi / Chigiri Hyoma (Hieizan Enryakuji)
- Nagi Seishiro / Mikage Reiou (Ryoke-san Matsuo Kannonji)

Temples Hosting the Event


1. Hieizan Enryakuji
Located at 4220 Sakamoto Honmachi, Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, this temple is renowned for its breathtaking views of Lake Biwa and the historic city of Kyoto. As a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1994, Hieizan is rich in both history and tranquility.

2. Kaiko-san Saikyoji
Situated at 5-13-1 Sakamoto, Otsu City, this temple is known as the headquarters of the Tendai Shingon sect and has a history dating back to its founding by Shotoku Taishi. After periods of neglect and restoration, it holds significant cultural importance in the region.

3. Ryoke-san Matsuo Kannonji
Located at 156-6 Kusubecho, Ise City, Mie Prefecture, Matsuo Kannonji was established in 712 by the monk Gyoki. Renowned for its scenic beauty and spiritual significance, it is the third station of the Ise Thirty-three Kannon pilgrimage.
