930 Club's 9/30 Day Celebration: Community Spirit in Action

The 930 Club, a beloved venue based in Washington, D.C., is gearing up for its annual 9/30 Day celebration. This year, the event will take place on September 30th, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The 930 Club is not just celebrating its fan base but also giving back to the community.

Acknowledging Fans and Local Needs

Every 9/30 Day, the 930 Club honors its dedicated fans who have been an integral part of its success over the years. The 930 Club will partner with So Others Might Eat (SOME), an organization devoted to tackling homelessness and hunger. Currently, SOME faces severe food shortages, and the 930 Club aims to help mitigate this crisis.

Food Drive and Raffle

During the celebration, attendees are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items from SOME's wishlist. For each donation of five items, participants will receive a chance to spin the 930 prize wheel. The prizes include tickets to upcoming concerts, gift cards, exclusive merchandise, and various rewards offered by local businesses,
such as Balance Gym and Capitol Hill's Lost Generation Brewing Company.

To motivate donations, those who contribute will be entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize that grants the winner tickets to every 930 Club show throughout October. This initiative not only provides a fun way for music fans to engage but also builds a sense of community among attendees.
